另?yè)?jù)中華人民共和國(guó)駐加拿大大使館網(wǎng)站消息，針對(duì)“加司法部就孟晚舟案簽發(fā)授權(quán)”一事，中國(guó)駐加拿大使館發(fā)言人表示，孟晚舟案不是一起簡(jiǎn)單的司法案件，而是對(duì)一家中國(guó)高科技企業(yè)的政治迫害。后來(lái)的事態(tài)發(fā)展證明了這一點(diǎn)。加方盡管標(biāo)榜“法治原則”、“司法獨(dú)立”，但并不能掩蓋其在孟晚舟案上犯下的錯(cuò)誤。

We aredisappointed that the Minister of Justice has decided to issue an Authority toProceed in the face of the political nature of the U.S, charges and where thePresident of the United States has repeatedly stated that he would interfere in Ms. Meng's case if he thought it would assist the U.S negotiations with Chinaover a trade deal.
2. We are alsoconcerned that the Minister has approved an ATP in circumstances where theconduct alleged to be an offence in the U.S. would not be an offence inCanada. This is an affront to the foundational extradition principle ofdouble criminality.
